True or Made Up?

53 pointsTony Delk

Tony Delk scores 53 points in a single game but averages only 9.1

Tony Delk scored 53 points in one overtime game against Sacramento. This was the only 30 point game of his career. Despite his performance, Phoenix lost the game 121 to 117.

It is absurd for a player with such a low career average to score so high in one game.
